The story takes place in a now common situation on the lives of two people in love who seem to keep on meeting at the wrong place and at the wrong time. In this film, the director, has attempted to showcase the normal aura, atmosphere, and pace of the real world to see what happens. The result is rather mixed. Of course, most viewers may have gone so far as to compare it with the previous films the director has done, where every scene was emotionally heavy. But, this time, if you observe, it was treated with swiftness, with just an adequately normal tempo as how the actual heart normally beats. In short, the pace of each scene may not be that heavy but as you stitch them up to the last scene you’ll find it sensibly a good heartfelt movie.
It is an interesting take on the reality, and the rare movie that almost everyone can relate to, since we can all see a little bit of ourselves in each of the characters. This can be another basis for a cinematic treatment, a heavy story on a light treatment has given a great justice on the plot.
I’ll admit it – I often find documentaries boring. It’s not that I’m not intellectually curious, I always just found the realm of love stories to be much more interesting. This is the story of the real world that most people deny. Watching this movie will make you question your own feelings.
It may have a young cast, but it is full of immense talent: John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. Tough and sensitive at the same time, watching this movie will remind you of why we should stay in love – “love always finds a way”.
The cast does a wonderful job of portraying the emotions and motives of their characters. The lead stars are absolutely captivating, allowing us to see reality through our own eyes. A true ensemble piece, the interplay between the actors makes the film completely believable.
